Unit Plan Canvas

Creating the canvas was confusing at first but became more and more simple as I spent more time playing around with it. In the process of creating it I came across various cool pictures and interesting videos that are seen throughout my canvas. I believe the images I have selected and the videos which I have chosen to use allow my students to envision what I have planned for them.
My canvas is an extension of my alphabet lesson plan. It aims to show the importance of not only learning the English language, but also the importance of learning other languages as well. This will allow the students to understand that language acquisition is not meant to be so much assessed as it is to be naturally acquired and exciting. This canvas will also work to give insight to the students as to why English should not be the only language they ever learn. By the end of the unit my students will have a maximized understanding that who you are and where in the world you are does not define what language you can speak. They will also understand that even though they will be assigned a grade, they should focus more on truly learning the language through the useful techniques shown in the canvas. This way, their grade will come naturally as they learn naturally.
